Amy has been working as a doula since 2005. She is a certified birth doula through DONA (Doulas of North America) for 19 years and now through ICEA and, she is also a Hypnobabies certified doula. In 2014, she certified as a childbirth educator through ICEA and now offers birth classes. She has had additionally training in many areas including Spinning Babies. Amy has worked with moms who have had a wide range of birth experiences and she is devoted to serving mothers and families in the birth they desire. Amy believes a positive birth experience radiates into all aspects of a woman's life, especially motherhood. Amy has a calm and nurturing disposition and wants mothers to feel empowered and respected during the birth of their child. She has attended over 100 births and worked with hundreds of families through childbirth classes and postpartum support.

Amy has five children of her own, including a stillborn son. She now has two grown children and homeschools her other 2 daughters.
